Encontro latino-americano em SP reforça debate sobre VoIP

Entre os dias quatro e seis de março, profissionais de telecom da América Latina devem se reunir em São Paulo para participar do 5°. Encontro Anual sobre VOIP. Organizada pela IBC, a conferência ”Voice over IP Latin America 2008” reunirá as empresas com atuação mais significativa no mercado latino-americano para trocar experiências, analisar e conhecer os últimos avanços na oferta e comercialização de serviços IP.

”Em 2009 a voz sobre IP deverá representar 11,2% do tráfego de telefonia fixa no Brasil, num crescimento muito superior aos 2,01% registrados em 2007”, analisa a gerente de projetos da IBC, Karin Mohr, responsável pelo evento. Para discutir os negócios e tendências do mercado brasileiro, foram convidados executivos da Transit Telecom, NetServiços, Philips,
Fitec, CPqD, Hip Telecom, IG, IPFone, Br Telecom e Anatel.

Estão previstos debates sobre o VoIP e o Wireless VoIP, sobre a evolução do VoIP com mobilidade, inserção do VoIP no 3Play, canais de comercialização da voz sobre IP, redes VoIP corporativas e sobre a regulamentação no país, que incluirá discussões sobre convergência, questões tributárias e de VoIP peering, entre outras.

As análises do mercado latino-americano ficarão a cargo do consultor sênior da Frost & Sullivan, Francisco M. Neto, do consultor da WiMax20/20 (EUA), Randall Schwartz, do gerente de produtos e bundling da VTR (Chile), Roberto Soto, e do gerente comercial da RedVoiss (Chile), Elias de la Cruz. Também se destacam na programação os dois workshops do dia 4: um sobre os investimentos para montar a operação de VoIP, conduzido pelo consultor Cesar Augusto Costa, e o outro sobre os desafios técnicos para a oferta de serviços de voz sobre IP, liderado por pesquisadores da Fitec.

Latin American Meeting on SP strengthens debate on VoIP

Among the days four six March, professional telecom Latin America should gather in Sao Paulo to participate in the 5th. Annual Meeting on VOIP. "In 2009 the voice over IP should represent 11.2% of traffic from fixed telephony in Brazil, a growth much higher than the 2.01% recorded in 2007," analyzes the project manager of the IBC, Karin Mohr, responsible for the event. To discuss the business and trends in the Brazilian market, were invited executives of the Transit Telecom, NetServiços, Philips,
Fitec, CPqD, Hip Telecom, IG, IPFone, Br Telecom and Anatel.

Are there discussions on the VoIP and Wireless VoIP, on the evolution of VoIP with mobility, inclusion of VoIP in the 3Play, marketing channels of voice over IP, VoIP corporate networks and on the regulation in the country, which will include discussions on convergence, tax issues and VoIP peering, among others.

Analyses of the Latin American market will be borne by the senior consultant of Frost & Sullivan, Francis M. Neto, of the consultant's WiMax20/20 (USA), Randall Schwartz, manager of products and bundling of VTR (Chile), Roberto Soto, and the manager's trade RedVoiss (Chile), Elias de la Cruz. We also stand out in the schedule the two workshops on 4: one on investment to mount the operation of VoIP, conducted by the consultant Cesar Augusto Costa, and the other on technical challenges for the provision of services for voice over IP, led by researchers in the Fitec.
