Concorrência desleal entre telefonia e internet será tema de audiência

São Paulo - Anatel, operadoras e representantes dos provedores são convocadas para discutir compartilhamento de redes e inclusão digital.

A Comissão de Ciência e Tecnologia , Comunicação e Informática da Câmara dos Deputados vai promover audiência pública na próxima quinta-feira (14/06) para tratar do uso compartilhado de redes de telecomunicações para universalização do acesso à internet. O evento atende a solicitação do deputado Bilac Pinto (PR-MG).

De acordo com o parlamentar, há indícios da ausência de concorrência saudável e de falta de compartilhamento das redes entre prestadores de serviços de telecomunicações e provedores de serviços de internet. Para ele, isso pode ser uma das fontes de atraso na universalização da inclusão digital.

Dois anos depois do lançamento do programa Computador para Todos, só recentemente o governo conseguiu acertar com as concessionárias uma tarifa subsidiada para a conexão à internet pela linha discada. A tarifa, de 7,50 mensais por 600 horas de conexão, no entanto, ainda depende de implantação pela Anatel.

Participarão da audiência, que acontece na manhã da quinta-feira em Brasília, os presidentes das três concessionárias de telefonia fixa: Antônio Carlos Valente, da Telefônica; Luís Eduardo Falco, da Oi; e Ricardo Knoepfelmacher, da Brasil Telecom.

Também estarão presentes o presidente da Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel), Plínio de Aguiar Júnior, e representantes de associações de prestadoras de serviço de comunicação multimídia e de provedores de acesso à internet.

São esperados o presidente da Associação Brasileira das Prestadoras do Serviço de Comunicação Multimídia (Abramult) Manoel Santana Sobrinho; presidente da Associação Riograndense dos Provedores de Acesso, Serviços e Informações da Rede Internet (InternetSul), Fabiano André Vergani, presidente da Associação Brasileira dos Provedores de Acesso, Serviços e Informações da Rede Internet (Abranet), Eduardo Fumes Parajo, e o presidente da Associação Brasileira dos Pequenos Provedores de Internet e Telecomunicações (Abrappit), Ricardo Lopes Sanchez.

The Commission of Science and Technology, Communication and Computer science of the House of representatives goes to promote audience in the next thursday (14/06) to deal with the use shared of nets of telecommunications for universalização of the access to the Internet.
